ABOUT HOSA INSTITUTE
See The Whole.
Change What Holds.
HOSA brings fragmented knowledge of the human being into one whole-system architecture. We teach people to see that whole, and work with private and public sector organisations to apply it to human capacity, performance, change and the decisions that shape them.

THE ARCHITECTURE
The whole changes what the pieces mean.
Neuroscience, biology, psychology and medicine each reveal something real about the human being. But no piece, studied alone, can explain how a person’s experience, behaviour and capacity arise from the system as a whole.
HOSA maps the relationships between those pieces. That wider view helps us see what is producing a pattern, why change may fade, and what conditions would allow it to hold.
HOW WE WORK
Three ways to work with HOSA
Start with the human map. Bring it into professional practice. Apply it to the decisions shaping organisations and public life.
WHERE WE WORK
Across Sectors. Across Scale.
The setting changes. The need to understand the human system does not.

Business, Enterprise, Industry
Private Sector
We work with leaders and organisations on performance, sustainable capacity, organisational change and the human implications of technology.

INSTITUTIONS & COMMUNITIES
Public Sector
We bring a whole human lens to questions affecting public services, workforces, governance, policy and the communities they serve.
Individuals
Practitioners
Organisations
Government & Public Bodies
No one discipline can explain the whole human.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND HOSA
HOSA was co-architected by Shannon Eastman, Dr Abrar Hussain and Dr Joshua Rosenthal. Together, they brought different ways of studying the human being into one architecture and continue to examine what it reveals and where its limits lie.
Leo Cullen, HOSA Faculty for AI, Enterprise & Industry, brings the architecture into organisational and institutional work.
Our Faculty Fellows bring expertise from their own fields: Ruth Pearce in law, Christina Loftus in TEDLaw, Chang-Sun Park in medicine, and Lanie Mason in the lives of healthcare employees and their families. They develop its application within the communities and institutions they know.

THE WORK AHEAD
The human condition is not a side issue.
It shapes how we live, how we work, what our institutions make possible, and what we pass on to the generations after us.
HOSA exists to make the whole human visible and to bring that understanding into the decisions that shape human lives. We teach it. We test it in practice. We work with people and institutions willing to change the conditions, not merely manage the outcomes.
What becomes possible when we master how to reliably create Change That Holds?
